In late 1957, or early 1958, the President of the Frisco Hells Angels, Frank Sadilek, had a meeting with leaders of other motorcycle clubs in the Bay Area. At this meeting the 1% diamond was created. This hand drawn diamond was the very first one. All of the Clubs on this list are the first Clubs to consider themselves 1%ers. To everyone out there that considers themselves a 1%er and makes the choice to wear that diamond, know that The Hells Angels created it.
